Job Description
Role Porpuse:
We are looking for a motivated and talented intern to join our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for data analysis and the ability to transform complex information into valuable business insights on a global scale. Key responsibilities will include supporting project execution, participating in the analysis, development, and deployment of Business Intelligence solutions. The role sits at the intersection between business and data: it does not require an IT or programming background, but rather analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the willingness to learn how to use BI tools effectively.
Main responsabilities:
- Assist in the collection, preparation and management of data from various international business sources.
- Support data analysis using Excel and BI tools such as Power BI. Training to be provided where suitable.
- Create presentations and reports to communicate analysis results clearly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the team to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
- Support the supervisor in gathering and evaluating business requirements and translating them into meaningful analysis.
- For the area of responsibility, support the supervisor in executing project activities to ensure initiatives are completed on time and within budget.
- Participate in identifying trends, opportunities, and critical issues within the data to provide actionable insights.
- Contribute to ad hoc analyses and reporting requests from different business areas.
- Support the provision of training to end users and day to day services to ensure smooth adoption of BI applications.
- Liaise with external vendors or consultants, helping to translate business needs into deliverables and ensuring service alignment
- Cross functional support within and outside the business intelligence function including occasional ad hoc administrative support & reporting.
Requirements:
- Degree in Economics, Management, Statistics, Computer Science or related fields (also in progress).
- Basic knowledge of Excel and Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI or similar).
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in English
- Adaptability and learning agility
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools.
- Previous experience in business analysis, reporting, or BI-related
