Our Milan office is a center of excellence for data analysis and Business Intelligence.

 

 

We are looking for a motivated and talented intern to join our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for data analysis and the ability to transform complex information into valuable business insights on a global scale. Key responsibilities will include supporting project execution, participating in the analysis, development, and maintenance of Business Intelligence, Big Data, and Analytics solutions. The candidate will operate in line with requirements and the technical landscape, adopting best practices and adhering to external regulations.

 

 

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related fields (also in progress).

• Basic knowledge of Business Intelligence tools.

• Analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.

• Proficiency in English.

 

 

• Assist in the collection and management of data from various international business sources.

• Supporting data analysis using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SQL. Training to be provided where suitable.

• Creation of reports and dashboards to present analysis results.

• Collaboration with the team to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.

• Providing support in the maintenance and management of the company's Data Warehouse and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

• Supporting the supervisor in gathering and evaluating business requirements to ensure they are correctly collected and technically feasible.

• Assisting the supervisor in regular maintenance of BI/Big Data and Analytics, in line with requirements and the technical landscape.

• Drafting and supporting documentation to accurately represent business processes and train end users on new solutions in conjunction with the supervisor.

• For the area of responsibility, supporting the supervisor in executing project activities to ensure initiatives are completed on time and within budget.

• Collaborating with business functions in reviewing technical documents to ensure alignment with business requirements.

• Assisting with the execution all testing phases, in line with test plans, to monitor the correct functioning of implemented applications.

• Support the provision of training to end users and day to day services to ensure smooth adoption of BI applications.

• Supporting IT support services and business end users in resolving complex issues to ensure they are resolved with minimal disruption.
