Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ESG Specialist to join our team at an intermediate level. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sustainability, with at least 24 months of experience in leading audit and/or consulting firms or financial intermediaries, with a particular focus on sustainability-related reporting activities. This role requires autonomy in handling end-to-end ESG processes, particularly in preparing group sustainability reports, developing group-wide sustainability plans and engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the drafting of the Group’s Annual Sustainability Report in compliance with European EFRS standards and other ESG reports for regulatory compliance and public disclosure.
  • Support the implementation of the Group ESG Strategic Plan, ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision and values.
  • Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across a range of functions and geographies.
  • Support the delivery of vertical projects based on strategic guidelines identified in the ESG Strategic Plan, ensuring timely and impactful outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging ESG regulations, industry best practices, and reporting frameworks.
  • Foster relationships with colleagues across diverse corporate functions, adapting communication to various business cultures and contexts.
  • Contributing to the development and communication of ESG policies and initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 24 months of professional experience in sustainability, ESG, or related areas in leading audit and/or consulting firms or financial intermediaries.
  • Knowledge of key sustainability topics, including sustainability reporting guidelines, reporting standards and management models, development of frameworks for measuring economic, social, and environmental impacts, and ESRS principles;
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage and deliver comprehensive sustainability reports and plans, with specific experience in applying European EFRS standards.
  • Strong project management skills with the capacity to autonomously run vertical projects aligned with ESG strategic goals.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities, with a proven empathetic and collaborative approach.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken; additional languages are considered an asset.
  • Experience working with teams across multiple countries and business functions.
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint) and an affinity for technology and AI
