Kedrion Biopharma is recruiting an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Management to join the team in Elstree.
As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting modern endpoint management solutions across our organisation. Your mission will be to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable deployment and management of end-user devices using Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM). You will be at the forefront of our digital workplace strategy, enabling seamless device provisioning, application deployment, patch management, compliance enforcement, and remote support capabilities.
Within this role you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the transition to cloud-based device management, supporting hybrid work environments, and maintaining a high standard of endpoint security and performance.
Please note, this role involves hands-on responsibilities including deploying system images to endpoints, software installation, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and the effective maintenance and management of the IT environment.
Key Responsibilities -
- Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Configuration Manager environments.
- Develop and maintain device compliance policies, application deployment strategies, and patch management processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to endpoint configuration and software distribution.
- Collaborate closely with the Service Desk, IT Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure endpoint configurations align with security policies, operational requirements, and user experience goals.
Skills and Qualifications to make you successful in the role -
- Experience in an IT infrastructure role, specialising in endpoint management.
- Microsoft Intune: Strong hands-on experience with device enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployment and conditional access. Proficient in managing Apple and Android devices through Apple Business Manager (ABM) and enterprise mobility tools.
- PowerShell Scripting: Ability to automate tasks and create custom scripts for system management and reporting.
- IT Service Management: Experience with incident, change control and asset management processes using an enterprise ITSM tool.
- Active Directory: User and computer account administration and Group Policy management.
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM): Proficient in software packaging, patch management, OS deployment, task sequences, and reporting.
- Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365: Deep understanding of modern desktop environments and integration with Microsoft cloud services.
- Networking Fundamentals: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network segmentation.
