We are seeking a driven, organized, and creative Communication Intern to join our U.S. Communications team for a one-year internship. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of internal and external communication initiatives while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This internship is designed to provide real exposure to corporate communications, giving you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to projects that elevate our brand, strengthen employee engagement, and support company storytelling across multiple platforms.
What you'll do
- Draft, edit, and proofread internal communications such as employee announcements, leadership messages, newsletters, employee spotlights, and intranet content
- Support the development and execution of internal communications strategies that enhance employee engagement and reinforce Kedrion’s culture and values
- Assist in planning and coordinating internal events, including logistics, vendor coordination, communications, invitations, and post-event feedback analysis
- Create engaging content for external channels, including social media, digital campaigns, blog content, and newsletters
- Help manage and update the company intranet, ensuring content is current, organized, and aligned with brand guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Human Resources and Talent Acquisition to support employer branding, recruitment marketing, and recognition initiatives
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activity, and communications best practices to support campaign development and strategy refinement
- Monitor media coverage, social media conversations, and industry news to support awareness and reporting
- Assist with the development of presentations, communication toolkits, templates, and visual assets for internal and external stakeholders
- Support the creation and maintenance of content calendars, editorial plans, and communication schedules
- Gather employee stories, conduct interviews, and help translate insights into compelling narratives for internal and external use
- Track and analyze engagement metrics for communications campaigns (e.g., email engagement, intranet usage, social performance) and assist in preparing reports
- Help maintain digital asset libraries, brand guidelines, and communication resources for team use
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns, storytelling, and content innovation
- Provide general administrative and project coordination support to the Communications team, helping manage timelines, documentation, and deliverables
Qualifications and need-to-know
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor’s degree or master's program in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content creation tools
- Able to meet the 1 year requirement of the role
- Able to travel up to 25%
