Job Summary
Lead Accounting Excellence in a Global Biopharma Organization! We’re looking for a Sr. Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting operations for Kedrion Biopharma and KEDPLASMA. This is a leadership role focused on compliance, process improvement, and driving financial accuracy in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage all accounting functions including general ledger, cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, fixed assets, inventory control, and accounts payable.
- Act as a primary contact for external auditors; oversee audit deliverables and timelines.
- Lead and develop a team through goal setting, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate with internal auditors and implement corrective actions for open points.
- Oversee tax compliance for federal, state, and local filings, including property and sales taxes.
- Drive month-end close improvements toward a WD+5 hard close; review and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
- Implement and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and automation initiatives for efficiency.
- Partner with business controlling and senior leadership to provide insights on financial results, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Review P&L reports, inventory movements, and gross margin analysis; prepare detailed reports for controlling and management.
- Support ongoing projects and ad-hoc initiatives to strengthen financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience; IFRS experience preferred.
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- CPA required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven leadership ability with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to drive process improvements and act as a change agent.
