Job Summary

Lead Accounting Excellence in a Global Biopharma Organization! We’re looking for a Sr. Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting operations for Kedrion Biopharma and KEDPLASMA. This is a leadership role focused on compliance, process improvement, and driving financial accuracy in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

  • Manage all accounting functions including general ledger, cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, fixed assets, inventory control, and accounts payable.
  • Act as a primary contact for external auditors; oversee audit deliverables and timelines.
  • Lead and develop a team through goal setting, coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate with internal auditors and implement corrective actions for open points.
  • Oversee tax compliance for federal, state, and local filings, including property and sales taxes.
  • Drive month-end close improvements toward a WD+5 hard close; review and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Implement and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and automation initiatives for efficiency.
  • Partner with business controlling and senior leadership to provide insights on financial results, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Review P&L reports, inventory movements, and gross margin analysis; prepare detailed reports for controlling and management.
  • Support ongoing projects and ad-hoc initiatives to strengthen financial processes and reporting.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience; IFRS experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • CPA required.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills.
  • Proven leadership ability with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to drive process improvements and act as a change agent.
