We're looking for a Key Account Manager with Iberian focus to join our team.

 

Role Purpose:

He/She is responsible for the sales of the Company's products in the assigned territory * through identification of relevant contacts and by becoming a value-added partner to health care professionals and other customers.

 

(*) Assigned Territory: Acting in all the Portuguese continental and insular (Madeira and Azores) territory + Spanish continental and Canarias Islands

Main Responsibilities:

  • Advertises and sells products and services of the Company through effective interaction with health care professionals and organizations to increase the awareness and use of the Company's pharmaceutical products.
  • Provides superior sales presentations to current and prospective customers.
  • Provides input into budget planning, sales target forecasting and marketing procedures as required.
  • Ensures the prompt transmission of relevant information from the healthcare professionals back to Marketing, Medical Affairs or Clinical Research Departments.
  • Maintains full and accurate records of all customers and provides several status reports.
  • Manages and helps in managing or maintaining accounts of strategic clients.
  • Proposes price schedules and discount rates as well as creating and conducting proposal presentations.
  • Assists Marketing Department in organizing of scientific meetings, congresses and similar events.
  • Catches new opportunities, special developments tor products and services, collects information as well as feedback thanks to field activity and then coordinate with proper staff of the company

Qualifications and Required Experience

  • B.S. /B.A. Degree or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experiences (can include biologics, medical device or pharmaceuticals sales/marketing or related experience in Key Account Management and or Sales.)
  • Documented track record of developing and implementing innovative and diverse marketing activities that have delivered strong commercial results, including launch brands.
  • Written and spoken fluency in English, Spanish and local (Portuguese) language
  • Travel is a routine requirement between Portugal and in Spain at least for the next 2 years. From 2027 onwoards, the role might be based exclusively in Portugal
