Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is an international company that collects and fractionates blood plasma to produce and distribute plasma-derived therapeutic products for us in treating and preventing serious diseases, disorders and conditions such as Hemophilia, Primary Immune System Deficiencies and Rh-Sensitization.
Job Summary
Work with a sophisticated, legal department for a rapidly growing, global biopharmaceutical company, with several members of it's team (including its global general counsel) located in Durham, NC. The intern is expected to work 6-8 hours per week with a hybrid work schedule in the Durham office.
What you'll do
The intern will be assigned a primary project to analyze the state and local registration and license requirements for our three legal entities with a presence in the United States, including general business registrations, state Board of Pharmacy licenses for the distribution of pharmaceuticals, and state-level manufacturing licenses and to help the entities come into compliance for any missing registrations or licenses and to help build a process for sustained future compliance.
There is potential for additional projects supporting our commercial, regulatory, HR and plasma-collection functions.
Qualifications and need-to-know
- Current law school student nearby to Durham, NC
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization, time management to meet deadlines
- Analytical skills to interpret information appropriately to promptly meet business and client needs

- Able to follow direction and to work independently and as a contributing team member

- Automation skills - Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, SharePoint, CoPilot, and Adobe
