To strengthen our finance team at our corporate headquarters in Gräfelfing (near Munich), we are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager, Accounting and Tax (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
For this key role, we are looking for an experienced manager who takes initiative, makes sound decisions, and possesses extensive expertise in finance and accounting. You will manage our accounting processes, continuously develop internal control systems, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for management regarding strategic and financial matters. Furthermore, you will provide operational cover for finance team members when necessary and actively participate in day-to-day operations. This includes independently executing postings in the SAP system and performing other accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes.
Your responsibilities
• Responsibility for accounting (HGB and IFRS standards), taxes, and transfer pricing documentation for the company and its branches
• Active participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings as well as tax filings using SAP S/4 HANA
• Leadership and supervision of the accounting team
• Support with budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity management
• Analysis of financial KPIs and preparation of meaningful, transparent reports for management
• Implementation of corporate finance strategies, procedures, and tools, taking local corporate culture and practices into account
• Optimization and further development of accounting and control processes
• Point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and tax authorities
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
Your profile
• Master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in Finance; additional qualification as a Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or Auditor is preferred
• 6–8 years of professional experience in monthly financial closing processes, preferably in a leadership role within the finance department of an SME operating internationally
• Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in SAP FI and MS Office
• Analytical mindset, methodical approach, and strong numerical aptitude
• Leadership experience
• Responsible, reliable, and loyal, with strong communication, team building, and collaborative skills
• Strong "hands-on" mentality and a proactive, ownership-driven approach
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
