Are you passionate about driving continuous improvement and digital transformation in manufacturing operations? We are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team in S. Antimo.

 

Role Overview

 

 

The Operational Excellence Specialist will support and lead initiatives aimed at improving production processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This role is key to driving continuous improvement and aligning local practices with global Operational Excellence strategies, including digital Tiered meeting deployment and Lean Maturity Model implementation.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

  • Analyze production process parameters to identify improvement opportunities and propose implementation projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies (technical and economic) for proposed initiatives.
  • Support process optimization to improve yield, quality, and compliance.
  • Lead and support the digitalization of Tiered meetings across departments ensuring alignment with SQPDC standards and KPI integration.
  • Contribute to the deployment and assessment of the Operational Excellence Maturity Model, supporting site-level evaluations and improvement roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with the Global Operational Excellence team to standardize processes across the Kedrion network.
  • Participate in troubleshooting activities and CAPA management related to equipment and processes.
  • Assist in Root Cause Analysis for deviations and complaints in coordination with Production and Quality teams

 

 

Qualifications & Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing or operational excellence roles preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Statistics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and digital tools (e.g., Power BI, digital dashboards, Minitab).
  • Proficiency in English is required.

  • Power Query for data transformation
  • VBA for automation and custom solutions (plus)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects.
