What You’ll Do:

- Perform donor identification, registration, and verification to confirm eligibility.
- Assess donor health and suitability by reviewing self-administered health history forms and conducting vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight.
- Perform fingerstick blood sampling to check hematocrit and total protein levels.
- Identify pre-donation risk factors or deferral criteria based on donor health information, vital sign results, and behavioral risk assessments.
- Monitor donor reactions during the screening process and coordinate with medical staff as needed for intervention.
- Train new and existing staff on proper screening procedures, equipment use, safety protocols, and donor service expectations.
- Maintain a smooth donor flow from registration through screening, minimizing wait times while ensuring thorough evaluations.
