Would you like to put your expertise in quality control to work in a dynamic and rigorous environment? Join Kedrion Biopharma Canada as a Quality Control Analyst (micro) and help guarantee product quality in compliance with pre-established specifications.

More specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Performing microbiological analyses on products and environmental samples in our laboratory;
• Completing sample analyses related to products and the production environment; membrane filtration, bacterial endotoxins, pathogen detection, total protein determination, environmental controls, etc. ;
• Completing documentation of all results;
• Participating in the drafting and revision of documents;
• Ensuring the availability of equipment required for sampling and testing.

You are the right person for this role if you have :

• A bachelor’s degree in microbiology or related discipline;
• A minimum of two (2) years in a similar role;
• You are at ease in an environment where quality and traceability are at the heart of the way things are done (GMP, ISO, etc.);
• You are familiar with microbiology analysis techniques;
• You can read, write and express yourself in both English and French;
• You are comfortable entering data and making simple formulas in Excel

Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and suppliers in Quebec as necessary.

Other language requirement

Another language is required for this position in order to communicate with partners and colleagues, who are predominantly located outside Quebec and to understand the technical and scientific documentation used in our industry.
